Cure MAPT FTD Increases Awareness of The Brain Disease Commonly Known As Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD), of The Importance of Genetic Testing, and Specifically of The Disease Caused By A Mutation of The MAPT (microtubule-associated Protein Tau) Gene. Through Regular Meetings With Our Volunteer Scientific Advisory Board and Active Members, We Ensure Open Communication, Strong Advocacy, and Unwavering Support for The MAPT Community In An Effort to Find A Cure. We Actively Participate In Medical and Scientific Conferences That Are Focused On The Genetics of FTD and Dementia-related Issues. Cure MAPT FTD Advocates for MAPT-specific Trials and Access to Other FTD Gene-specific Trials. Currently There Are No Interventional, Drug or Gene Therapy Trials That Are Available for MAPT Patients, Regardless of Symptom Status. We Actively Participate In Key Scientific Conferences Worldwide, Building Vital Connections With Researchers and Fostering Collaboration.
