THE WE OUTSIDE PROGRAM WILL PROVIDE 10 WEEKS of OUTINGS for 4 COHORTS of 25 YOUTH EACH. THESE OUTINGS WILL INCLUDE EITHER A GROUP BICYCLE OUTING, GOLF OUTING and LESSON, or A TENNIS OUTING and LESSON. THE VILLAGE LIFE PROJECT WILL IMPLEMENT AN EVIDENCE-INFORMED YOUTH EMPOWERMENT SOLUTIONS (Y.E.S.) for PEACEFUL LEADERSHIP PROGRAM. THE PROGRAM is to BE ROOTED IN A COMPREHENSIVE UNDERSTANDING of THE UNIQUE NEEDS of COMMUNITIES IMPACTED BY FIREARM VIOLENCE and THE SYSTEMIC INEQUITIES STEMMING FROM THE WAR ON DRUGS. THE KUKOMAA PROGRAM WORKS WITH YOUTH AGES 14-16 IN 3-MONTH COHORTS FOCUSED ON RITE of PASSAGE LEARNING: COHORTS TAKE MONTHLY FIELD TRIPS to EXPERIENCE THE ART CULTURE IN SEATTLE and VISIT LOCAL TECH COMPANIES. HIGHWAY to TECH: THIS PROGRAM SAVES TAXPAYERS MONEY BY REDUCING THE COST of INCARCERATING CITIZENS. THIS is DONE BY PROVIDING NEEDED TRAINING, SUPPORT, and GUIDANCE to MARGINALIZED PERSONS WHICH ALLOWS THEM to BREAK CYCLES of POVERTY, CRIME, and INCARCERATION. CURRENT SYST
