What they do

ADI Provided Audio Description Services for Approximately 180 Live Events At 14 Different Venues, Serving Over 100 Blind and Low Vision Patrons. We Launched Our ADI Ambassador Program to Recruit and Train Community Ambassadors (Blind/Low Vision) and Event Ambassadors (sighted). We Provided Leadership and Staff Training to 4 New Member Organizations to Prepare Them to Welcome Members of The Blind Community to Their Venues, Including Information On Marketing to The Blind/LV Community, Website Improvements, and On-site Guest Service for Blind/LV Patrons, Among Others. ADI Connected Member Organizations to Blind/LV Organizations to Build Peer-to-peer Relationships. ADI Presented At Multiple Organizations to Raise Awareness of Blind and Low Vision Patrons, Fans, and Customers. Audio Description Services: Provide Live Audio Describers to Organizations So That Their Live Programing (e.g., Theatre, Dance, Sporting Events, Concerts) Are Accessible to People Who Are Blind or Have Low Vision.
