SWIM and DIVE MEETS REQUIRE THOROUGH PLANNING, COORDINATED LEADERSHIP, and AN EXTRAORDINARY NUMBER of VOLUNTEERS IN ORDER to BE WELL-ORGANIZED, EFFICIENT and SAFE. THESE SWIM and DIVE COMPETITIONS ALLOW YOUTH to NOT ONLY LEARN HOW to SWIM and DIVE BUT ALSO HOW to COMPETE to THEIR POTENTIAL AS A MEMBER of A TEAM. EACH SUMMER, YOUTH ON THE SWIM and DIVE TEAMS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY to COMPETE IN A NUMBER of DUAL MEETS (AGAINST ONE TEAM) and IN ONE END-OF-THE-SEASON LARGE COMPETITION THAT INCLUDES ALL of THE SWIM and DIVE TEAMS IN THE CITY.
