Workshop Topics for 2025 Included Bull Evaluation and Selection for Cattle Herd Health; Horses & Horseman Series; Beef Quality Assurance Certification; and Artificial Insemination Practices for Cattle Herds. The Spring Plant and Rootstock Sale Provided An Opportunity for Farmers to Purchase Fruit and Vegetable Plants At Highly Discounted Prices. Demonstrations Were Also Presented At Area Events to Teach Selection of Meat Cuts, Provide Cooking Suggestions, and Food Handling Safety. A Total of 54 Local Farmers Attended The Hands-on Workshops. Plants Were Sold In 27 Counties In Southeastern Kentucky and Reached Approximately 2500 Farmers. Cooking Demonstrations Impacted Over 400 Local Families.
