What they do
MCC MAINTAINS and SUPPORTS THE MURPHYS COMMUNITY PARK and PLAYGROUND for THE USE of THE COMMUNITY and VISITORS. WE RENT OUT VARIOUS AREAS of THE PARK for EVENTS, FUNDRAISERS, PARTIES and GATHERINGS for BOTH PRIVATE and COMMUNITY USE. PEOPLE ARE WELCOME FROM ALL OVER NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. MCC ALSO HOLDS FRIDAY NIGHT SUMMER CONCERTS and HOSTS THE ANNUAL COMMUNITY WIDE HOMECOMING FESTIVAL. CONTINUING WORK is BEING DONE ON ENHANCING THE NEW BOCCE BALL COURTS WITH ELECTRICITY, SHADE STRUCTURES and LANDSCAPING. IN THE FUTURE WE ARE HOPING to CLEAN and ENHANCE THE CREEKSIDE AREAS WITH A WALKING PATH.
