The Shasta Wonderland Elite Athletic Team Was Founded In ~ 1975 By Several Local Runners Who Wanted to Raise Money to Then Give to Local High School Seniors Who Had Run Cross Country and Distance Track In High School. The Received The 501C3 and The First Event Was The John Frank Norcal 10 Miler. Over The Years The Club Began Hosting The Whiskeytown Relays and Then The Reding Marathon. Since Covid, The Relays Were Cancelled Indefinitely Due to Logistics. We Are Now The Proud Host of The Turkey Trot and Through These 3 Races, We Are Able to Award Over 10,000 A Year to Local Graduate. We Are Proud to Have Climber Out of The Covid Slump and Our Community Has Rallied Behind Us to Help SWEAT Suceed
