IN THE PROCESS, THE GUILD MEMBERS HAVE FUN, DO SOME IMPORTANT COMMUNITY WORK, and LEARN ALONG THE WAY.THE GUILD is NAMED AFTER KATHERINE COLWELL (KC) HOWARD, WHO is THE GRANDDAUGHTER of ANNA HERR CLISE, THE FOUNDER of THE CHILDRENS ORTHOPEDIC HOSPITAL (NOW KNOWN AS SEATTLE CHILDRENS HOSPITAL). KC GREW UP VOLUNTEERING HER TIME and EFFORTS OVER MANY YEARS, INVOLVING HERSELF IN PROJECTS AT THE HOSPITAL AS WELL AS SERVING ON THE BOARD of TRUSTEES. THE KC HOWARD GUILD is HONORED to BE NAMED for HER.
