THE LANDS GROOMED ARE A COMBINATION of U.S. FOREST SERVICE and BUREAU of RECLAMATION LANDS. THE VNC OPERATES THROUGH DONATIONS FROM ITS MEMBERS and SPONSORS; and WITH THE COOPERATION of THE ABOVE FEDERAL LAND AGENCIES and THE PINE RIVER IRRIGATION DISTRICT. THE VOLUNTEER GROOMING PROVIDES 10 -15 KILOMETERS of SKATE and CLASSIC SKI TRAILS for WINTER RECREATION OPPORTUNITIES ON PUBLIC LANDS, THIS TRAIL SYSTEM PROVIDES for A HEALTHY WINTER OUTING for LOCALS and VISITORS to THE AREA.
