STMSLA is A 501(C)(3)NONPROFIT CALIFORNIA CORPORATION HEADQUARTERED WITHIN THE SERVICE AREA of THE ROMAN CATHOLIC ARCHDIOCESE of LOS ANGELES. STMSLA is PERHAPS BEST KNOWN for HOSTING THE ANNUAL LOS ANGELES RED MASS. THE RED MASS BRINGS TOGETHER JUDGES, PUBLIC SERVANTS, and LAWYERS IN PRAYER and MARKS THE INFORMAL OPENING of THE JUDICIAL SEASON. IN ADDITION to THE RED MASS, STMSLA HOSTS and CO-SPONSORS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING for MEMBERS of THE LEGAL COMMUNITY. IN RECENT YEARS, OUR PROGRAMS HAVE FOCUSED ON THEMES SUCH AS RELIGIOUS LIBERTY and LEGAL ETHICS.
