2024 Was A Busy Year for Second Mountain. We Continued The GLA Program In Algoa Correctional Center. Traveled to Virginia to Start GLA In Virginia Jail, Which Was The First Jail Site for GLA. We Hosted Prison Leadership Conference In Algoa Correctional Center. This Was The First Leadership Conference Held In A Prison. 75 Guests and 75 Residents Participating With 4 National Speakers. We Started GLA In Illinois At Kewanee Life Skills and Re-entry Center. We Also Started GLA At 2 More MODOC Facilities Including Jefferson City Correctional Center & Moberly Correctional Center and Began Preparation to Start GLA At 2 More MODOC Facilities Including Farmington Correctional Center & Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center (Bonne Terre, MO). We Expanded Hope Pack Donations and Gifts to 4 Correctional Centers In Missouri Through Contributions From Our Board Members. This Made 8,400 Hope Pack Christmas Presents Donated to Incarcerated People In Missouri. We Also Traveled to Chicago
