Dash and Scout is A Special Needs Collective for Adults With Down Syndrome and Other Varying Abilities Seeking A Meaningful, More Independent Path. The Dash and Scout Concept is Unique to Virginia and Boasts A Series of Hands-on Programs Designed to Increase Their Independence. These Programs Allow Adults With Intellectual Disabilities to Come Together for Overnight Multi-day Retreats to Experience Independent Living In An Environment Customized for Individual Participants. The Experience Also Allows Each Family to Be A Partner In Ensuring There is A Strong Focus On Individual Goals, Growth and Progress Tracking. This, In Turn, Helps The Participants Discover How to Create A "Life Recipe" for Greater Independence Though Day and Weekend Programs.
