Wheels for Change, Inc.s Bridging Borders Program Supports International Wheelchair Racing Training Organizations In Regions Where Financial Barriers Prevent Participation. In 2025, It Ordered and Paid for One New Racing Wheelchair for Gogetdem Wheelchair Racing Club In Ghana. This Will Replace A Racing Chair That Was Totaled During A Marathon. It Also Provided Grants to Fund A Five-day Wheelchair Racing Workshop for 20 Athletes and Granted A Variety of Wheelchair Racing Supplies and Equipment to Help Maintain The Clubs Equipment and Properly Fit The Athletes. Approximately 50 Hours of Volunteer Time Was Donated to Assist With Future Training Plans, Ordering and Shipping Supplies, and Evaluating The Possibility of Beginning A Second Outreach In Kenya.
