What they do

The Primary Mission of CASSI Inc is to Advance Our Scientific Understanding of Fundamental Organismal Biology and Mathematics Through The Use Model Organism Upside-down Jellyfish Cassiopea and Provide Opportunities to The Broad Scientific Community Including Early Career Researchers So That They May Gain Access to Resources In The Form of Scholarships. The Scholarships Will Permit Researchers to Conduct Experiments Travel to Conferences and Network In Order to Promote A More Inclusive and Collaborative Research Community. The Primary Program Activity for CASSI Inc is to Organize The International Cassiopea Workshop Which Brings Together Researchers to Share Knowledge Conduct Field Experiments Participate In Skills Tutorials and Network With Fellow Researchers. In 2024 We Organized The 7th International Cassiopea Workshop Which Brought Dozens of Researchers Together to Promote Inclusive Science Through Knowledge Sharing and Establish New Collaborations.
