Inner City Yakima Basketball Club Started Out With 3 Teams, Age Ranging From 5-11. At The End of February 2026, The Club Has 8 Teams From Grades 1 Through 7th Grade. AAU Basketball is Year-round So There Are Always League Games and Tournaments That All Teams Participate In. Under AAU, All Players and Coaches Are Required to Have An AAU Membership Card As Their Insurance to Practice In Local School Gyms and Play In Tournaments Around The Valley and Other Cities. The Teams Fundraise to Cover The Cost of Jerseys and Game Fees to Include Basketball Equipment, Training and Registrations. All Coaches Are Either Parents of Players and Volunteering to Teach, Train and Coach At Risk Youths Into Developing The Skills Needed to Compete In Organized Basketball.
