During 2025 The Secure Resilient Future Foundation SRFF A 501c4 Social Welfare Organization Advanced Its Mission to Promote Cybersecurity Resilience Consumer Protection and Technology Sustainability Through Policy Advocacy Research and Public Education SRFF Collaborated With National Consumer Organizations Including Consumer Reports and US PIRG to Support Legislation and Policy Proposals Requiring Manufacturers to Disclose Software Support Lifecycles and Address Cybersecurity Risks Posed By Unsupported Products SRFF Also Contributed Research and Technical Expertise to Public Awareness Initiatives Including The Electronic Waste Graveyard Documenting Technology Products Rendered Insecure or Unusable Due to Discontinued Support Additionally SRFF Published Policy Analysis and Educational Materials to Inform Policymakers and The Public About Cybersecurity Risks Associated With Unsupported Software and to Promote More Secure and Sustainable Technology Practices
