Details on what is needed:Backpack Coalition has been serving our community for over 20 years and has been led by United Way since 2014. We are committed to providing backpacks and school supplies to students with financial constraints so that they have the tools they need to succeed in school. Each year the coalition distributes thousands of backpacks with grade-appropriate school supplies to students in grades K-9. In 2025, over 8,000 backpacks were distributed to students in Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington, and Waukesha counties.
We invite you to host a physical or virtual supply drive, shop our wish list, or make a monetary donation to help us support local students in the 2026-27 school year. Full info at the link below.
