THE FAYETTE COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION (FCEDC) is A NONPROFIT (28E) COUNTYWIDE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. THE PRIMARY PURPOSE of FCEDC is to ENHANCE JOB OPPORTUNITIES for THE CITIZENS of THE FAYETTE COUNTY AREA. FCEDC WILL INITIATE and ASSIST IN ACTIVITIES INVOLVING THE RETENTION and EXPANSION of EXISTING EMPLOYERS ALONG WITH THE ATTRACTION of NEW EMPLOYERS and ENTREPRENEURS. FURTHER, THE ORGANIZATION WILL ASSIST IN EFFORTS to EXPAND THE CAPABILITIES of THE COUNTYS WORKFORCE and SEEK to ASSIST WITH INDIVIDUAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS.
