THE MISSION of AGE + US is to EMPOWER COMMUNITIES of ALL AGES to VALUE and CARE for OLDER ADULTS, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO ARE ISOLATED, POOR and UNDERSERVED. to ACHIEVE THIS PURPOSE THE ORGANIZATION WILL 1) PROVIDE EDUCATION, TRAINING and ADVICE to INDIVIDUALS and ORGANIZATIONS ABOUT ISSUES RELATED to AGING POPULATIONS; 2) ANALYZE GOVERNMENTAL POLICIES and THE IMPACT of LEGISLATION and REGULATION THAT AFFECT INDIVIDUALS and ORGANIZATIONS RELATED to THE AGING POPULATION; 3) RESEARCH, PREPARE, REVIEW and EDIT POSITION PAPERS and ARTICLES to EDUCATE INDIVIDUALS and ORGANIZATIONS RELATED to ISSUES of AGING; and 4) DEVELOP PROGRAMS and SERVICES BASED ON IDENTIFIED NEEDS for INDIVIDUALS, ORGANIZATIONS and COMMUNITITES RELATED to AGING POPULATIONS.
