STEMM FIREs (SF) Primary Program is Rural School Speaking With STEMM Professionals. SF Has Reached 1996 Students This Past Year In Rural School Districts Across Kansas. SF Has Grown Our Volunteer Speaker List to Over 40 STEMM Professionals Ranging From Orthopedic Surgeons to Linemen, Nursing to Engineering, Agriculture Specialists to Physicists - Each Volunteering Time Out of Their Busy Careers to Speak to Rural Middle and High School Students About Their Careers and Offering Mentorships and Job Shadowing. With A New Partnership With Fort Hays State University, Our Organization Continues to Grow and Impact More and More Students and Communities Across Rural Kansas. STEMM FIRE Dissolved In 2024, and The Net Assets Were Transferred to Fort Hays State University Foundation.
