for The 2024-2025 Academic Year, The University of California Graduate and Professional Council (UCGPC) Achieved Several Significant Accomplishments In Its Mission to Enhance The Graduate Student Experience Across The UC System: 1) Advocacy and Policy Impact: A) Fielded Robust Delegations for Both State and Federal Advocacy Days, Engaging Directly With State Budget Committees and Federal Agencies, 2) Events and Outreach: A) Successfully Organized and Executed The Grad Summit 2024, Fostering Connection and Collaboration Among Graduate Students, B) Facilitated Graduate Participation In Student Regent Interviews, Ensuring Strong Graduate Representation. 4) Coalition Building: A) Strengthened Partnerships With Organizations Such As CEJA, UCSA, and NAGPS On Issues Including Basic Needs, Housing, and Legislative Advocacy.
