1) On April 6, 2024, We Held A Spring Walk & Education Session Entitled "Stepping Up for Childrens Mental Health". This Event Provided The Opportunity to Learn About How Parents and Teachers Can Support Their Children, The Community, and Our Schools to Ensure Childrens Mental Health is Supported. Jenna Borrelli, LCSW-C, Director of Wellness and Health At Bullis School, Discussed The Latest Research On School Mental Health and Provided Resources to Help Attendees Better Support Childrens Emotional and Social Well-being. 2) We Held An Event On World Mental Health Day On October 10, 2024 to Raise Awareness of The Need for A Continued Commitment to Provide Mental Health Services to Children In The DC, Maryland and Virginia Communities. We Recognized Thought Leaders In This Field (including Congressman Jamie Raskin, Dr. Lee Beers, Angela Alsobrooks, and Dr. Shelli Avenevoli) and Raised Funds to Support The Following 3 Worthy Organizations That Support Our Mission: Lourie Center for Children
